Water Disruption Expected in Penang at the End of April

Penang, – Residents in Penang are advised to prepare for a temporary water supply disruption expected to occur at the end of April, lasting between 24 to 48 hours.

According to the Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP), the disruption is due to upgrade works, and will affect areas including Bayan Lepas, Perai, Bukit Minyak and Batu Kawan.

PBAPP CEO and PBAHB DATO’ IR. PATHMANATHAN K. stated, “We understand the inconvenience this may cause and assure the public that our teams are working efficiently to complete the works as soon as possible.”

Residents and businesses are urged to store sufficient water in advance and use water wisely during this period. PBAPP will provide updates through its official website and social media channels.
